Young Africans SC (Yanga) is set to introduce a new look for its 2025/26 season kits, marking the end of a four-year collaboration with celebrated Tanzanian fashion designer Sheria Ngowi.

For the past four seasons, Ngowi has been credited with transforming Yanga’s visual identity through innovative designs that blended modern aesthetics with the club’s rich heritage.

His work not only earned widespread acclaim among fans but also positioned Yanga among Africa’s most stylish football brands.

The club has confirmed that the upcoming season will feature kits designed by a new creative partner, signalling what officials describe as a strategic shift in branding and merchandising.

The move comes as part of Yanga’s broader plan to expand its commercial appeal and strengthen its image on the continent.

“It has been an incredible journey working with Yanga SC and creating designs that connect with the spirit of the team and its supporters,” Ngowi said in a statement, thanking the club and its fans for their trust and support.

Yanga is expected to unveil the new home, away, and training kits in the coming weeks. While the identity of the new designer remains under wraps, expectations are high as fans anticipate fresh designs that maintain the club’s signature identity while offering a modern twist.

The shift reflects a growing trend among African clubs to invest in branding as a tool for fan engagement and revenue generation.

For Yanga, this transition represents both a creative evolution and a business opportunity, as official merchandise continues to play a significant role in club revenues.
