Tulia Ackson joins Uyole residents to watch Tulia Trust Uyole Cup 2025

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania and President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Dr. Tulia Ackson, joined residents of Uyole on August 15 to watch a Round of 16 match in the Tulia Trust Uyole Cup 2025. 

The match was held at Mwawinji Grounds in central Uyole, Mbeya Region.

The tournament, now in its 2025 edition, brings together teams from across Mbeya and nearby regions. It aims to promote football at the grassroots level, nurture young talent, and encourage community participation.

Dr. Ackson interacted with players, organizers, and local residents during her visit. She praised the tournament for creating opportunities for young athletes and promoting social cohesion. “Sports unite communities and open doors for youth development,” she said.
