President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, was warmly received by orphans from the Mburahati Orphanage Center, who offered prayers for her upon her arrival at the Diamond Jubilee Hall in Dar es Salaam.
The President was in the city to participate in the Peace Forum ahead of the 2025 General Election, organized by the Union of Imams of Tanzania (UMATA).
The event aims to foster harmony and peaceful coexistence among Tanzanians during the electoral period.
During the welcoming ceremony, the children extended their prayers for the President’s continued health and for peace across the nation, highlighting the role of unity and faith in ensuring a successful and peaceful election.
President Samia, visibly moved by the warm reception, thanked the children and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and solidarity as the country prepares for the upcoming elections.
The forum brings together religious leaders, political stakeholders, and community representatives to encourage dialogue, conflict prevention, and responsible civic engagement ahead of the 2025 polls.
