Mpina, Ferej visit ACT Wazalendo headquarters ahead of Presidential Bid

Luhaga Mpina, the presidential candidate for the United Republic of Tanzania on the ACT Wazalendo ticket, alongside his running mate, Fatma Ferej, today paid a visit to the party’s national headquarters. 

The duo was received by senior party leadership in a ceremony that underscores their commitment to party unity and preparedness ahead of the upcoming general elections.

At the party’s headquarters, Mpina and Ferej were warmly welcomed by ACT Wazalendo’s Chairperson, Dorothy Semu. 

Also present to receive the candidates were prominent party figures, including Vice Chairman for Mainland Tanzania, Isihaka Mchinjita; Secretary General, Ado Shaibu; former Central Committee member and influential party strategist, Zitto Kabwe; as well as the Chairman of the Party Trustees Board, Mhonga Ruhwanya. Several other key officials from the party’s leadership team also attended the event.

The visit signals a strategic step as ACT Wazalendo rallies its leadership and supporters behind the Mpina-Ferej ticket.

 Party officials reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the party’s vision of inclusive governance and socio-economic development across Tanzania.

Speaking at the event, Dorothy Semu emphasized the importance of solidarity and collaboration within the party as they prepare to present a compelling alternative to voters in the forthcoming elections.

The Mpina-Ferej ticket is expected to unveil their manifesto and campaign strategy in the coming weeks, promising a renewed focus on transparency, economic empowerment, and social justice.
