Citizens who turned out in large numbers at Tanganyika Packers grounds in Kawe for the launch of the CCM presidential campaign have voiced satisfaction with the speech delivered by CCM presidential candidate, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
Dr. Samia, who was joined by her running mate, Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, used the rally to present highlights of CCM’s 303-page election manifesto, outlining key priorities for the next government if entrusted with power.
Her address touched on accelerating infrastructure development, expanding access to social services, creating jobs for youth, and sustaining economic growth.
The commitments drew applause from supporters, many of whom said the message resonated with their daily realities and long-term aspirations.
“We are confident that Dr. Samia has both the experience and vision to continue building our nation. The way she broke down the manifesto shows her deep understanding of what citizens need,” said one attendee.
Others emphasized their readiness to support her candidacy at the ballot box. “Her promises are realistic and practical. We will stand with her by voting in large numbers on October 29,” said another supporter.
The rally was marked by chants of encouragement and songs of solidarity, reflecting the enthusiasm of party members and sympathizers.
For many in attendance, the event was not only a political gathering but also a moment of reassurance that the ruling party intends to deliver on its commitments.
