Airtel Money Tanzania has unveiled a new double-value campaign, Airtel Money Ni Buree and Ni Nafuu, in a move aimed at making digital transactions more affordable and accessible for millions of Tanzanians.
The initiative reflects Airtel’s commitment to supporting the Government’s vision of a cashless economy and strengthening financial inclusion through digital services.
Under the new campaign, Airtel customers can send money free of charge via the Airtel App and withdraw amounts below TSh10,000 without paying government levies, with Airtel covering the cost.
Speaking during the launch at Airtel Tanzania Headquarters, Airtel Money Director, Andrew Rugamba, said the campaign gives customers greater freedom and value:“With Airtel Money Ni Buree and Ni Nafuu, customers can send and cash out money more affordably, helping them save and use their money for what matters most. This is how we continue to drive financial inclusion and make digital transactions a reality for every Tanzanian.”

Airtel’s Public Relations Manager, Jackson Mmbando, added that the new offers respond directly to customer needs:“Our customers have told us they want services that are both more affordable and more convenient. With these campaigns, Airtel is once again proving its leadership in delivering innovative, inclusive, and affordable financial solutions that align with Tanzania’s digital transformation goals.”he added
The launch was also attended by Airtel Money brand ambassador Lukas Mhavile, who echoed that the campaign will give Tanzanians more control and flexibility in how they manage their money.
With these new services, Airtel Money aims to make it easier for customers to conduct everyday transactions whether buying electricity, airtime, or other essentials while ensuring more money stays in their pockets.
