Ambassador Noel Kaganda, Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation at Tanzania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, today held a high-level meeting with Mr. Jonas Jonsson, Deputy Director for Africa at the European External Action Service (EEAS). The meeting took place at the Ministry’s Sub Office in Dar es Salaam.
The discussions centred on pressing global security challenges and explored avenues for enhanced collaboration between Tanzania and the European Union in addressing ongoing international conflicts.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, multilateralism, and collective action through international institutions, with particular emphasis on the United Nations.
Present at the meeting was Her Excellency Christine Grau, Ambassador of the European Union to Tanzania, underscoring the importance of diplomatic coordination.
The session provided a platform to exchange perspectives on strengthening bilateral ties and advancing joint initiatives in global affairs.
Ambassador Kaganda emphasised Tanzania’s readiness to deepen cooperation with the EU in promoting peace, security, and sustainable development worldwide.
