Singida Black Stars Football Club has announced the appointment of Argentine tactician Miguel Ángel Gamondi as its new Head Coach on a one-year contract, as part of a strategic overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Gamondi takes over from David Ouma, who led the team during the 2024/25 season. Ouma will now serve as one of two assistant coaches, alongside Moussa N’Daw, forming a new-look technical bench aimed at elevating the club’s performance in the upcoming campaign.
Speaking today, the club’s Media Officer Hussein Massanza said the decision was made by the club’s Board of Directors as part of broader preparations for the new season.
“We are pleased to inform our members, fans, and stakeholders that Miguel Gamondi is our new Head Coach,” said Massanza.
“These changes reflect the Board’s commitment to building a competitive and well-structured team for the 2025/26 season. We will continue to share updates as the team gears up for the new challenge.”he added
Gamondi is a seasoned coach with extensive experience in African football. He is well known in Tanzania, having previously coached Young Africans SC (Yanga), where he left a notable mark with his tactical discipline and player development philosophy.
His arrival at Singida Black Stars is seen as a statement of intent by the club, which is looking to improve its league standing and compete more aggressively in local competitions.
With Gamondi at the helm, expectations are high for a strong and disciplined squad ready to challenge for silverware.
The club is expected to unveil more details about its pre-season preparations and player signings in the coming weeks.
