The National Leader of the Uhuru Torch race, Ismail Ally Usi, has extended heartfelt condolences to the people of Same District and the Kilimanjaro Region following a tragic road accident that claimed several lives, describing it as a national tragedy.
Speaking during the Uhuru Torch event held in Same District, Ally expressed deep sorrow for the families who lost their loved ones, emphasizing that the entire nation stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time of mourning.
“It is a devastating loss for all citizens, relatives, and friends to lose their loved ones in such an accident. As the leader of the national UhuruTorch race, I offer my condolences on behalf of the government and the entire national torch team,” Ally said.
He further urged the community to remain strong, to support one another, and to continue praying for the departed, adding that national unity is a vital pillar in times of sorrow.
The accident, which occurred recently in Same District, involved a passenger vehicle and resulted in multiple injuries and fatalities, bringing immense grief to the affected families and the nation at large.
Ally called on all drivers to exercise caution and strictly observe road safety regulations to prevent future tragedies that leave lasting pain within communities.
