The Ministry of Construction has taken keen interest in a young boy from Kibaigwa, Dodoma, after a video showing his remarkable talent in building roads and bridges went viral on social media.
Thirteen-year-old Riziwani Martin Asheri has demonstrated exceptional skills in civil engineering at a tender age, prompting the Minister of Construction, Abdallah Ulega, to send ministry officials to verify and assess the boy’s abilities firsthand.
During their visit, the officials engaged in detailed discussions with Riziwani, his mother, his uncle, and the chairman of Karume local government.
They gathered insights into the boy’s personal background, educational journey, and aspirations.
Riziwani expressed a strong desire to become one of Tanzania’s top engineers, aiming to contribute to the nation’s infrastructure development and modernization.
Minister Ulega commended the young talent and assured the family that the government will provide the necessary support and opportunities to nurture his potential and help him achieve his dreams.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to recognizing and investing in young talents who can drive Tanzania’s development agenda in the construction sector.
