Iringa Regional Commissioner, Comrade Kheri James, has successfully completed an extensive tour covering all districts and councils within the Iringa region.
The tour’s primary objective was to formally introduce himself and engage directly with government officials, community members, and local leaders to strengthen collaboration and improve service delivery.
Throughout the visit, RC Kheri James carefully reviewed detailed performance reports from each council and received comprehensive briefings on the overall status and challenges facing the districts across the region.
In his concluding address to officials and community leaders in Iringa District and its councils today, RC James called for heightened focus on key areas including security enforcement, revenue mobilization, prompt resolution of citizen grievances, accelerated implementation of development projects, enhanced quality of public services, improved sanitation standards, and adherence to principles of good governance.
He stressed that the commitment of all local government authorities is vital to driving sustainable development and ensuring the well-being of the people in Iringa.
The Regional Commissioner’s visit marks a significant step in reinforcing accountability and fostering a results-driven culture across the region’s administrative units.
