The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has joined hands with the Tanzania Posts Corporation (Posta) to provide transport services for people and goods during the 49th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), also known as Sabasaba 2025.

This year’s exhibition will be held from June 28 to July 13, 2025, at the Mwalimu Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds in Dar es Salaam.

It is one of the biggest business events in East Africa, attracting local and international participants.

As part of this partnership, Posta will offer a service called SwifPack. This service will use special vehicles to carry people and their luggage inside the fairgrounds at affordable prices.

Speaking during the official launch at Posta Headquarters in Dar es Salaam today, Ms. Latifa Mohammed Khamis, the Director General of TanTrade, said the partnership is aimed at improving the experience for both exhibitors and visitors.

“This partnership is our response to feedback from previous years. Many visitors and exhibitors have experienced transport difficulties within the fairgrounds. With SwifPack, we are enhancing accessibility and creating a better experience for all,” said Ms. Khamis.

She said the service will help traders move their goods quickly and easily within the venue.

“We want to support businesspeople fully. Quick and affordable movement of goods is essential for effective participation in the exhibition,” she added.

Ms. Khamis said the collaboration with Posta will help improve the organization of the event and support Tanzania’s goal of becoming a strong trade and investment hub.

“We are proud to collaborate with Posta to deliver services that reflect professionalism, innovation, and public interest,” she said.
