The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) has announced a scheduled power outage in Gongolamboto District on Thursday, 5th June 2025, from 3:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
This outage is necessary to carry out essential maintenance at one of TANESCO’s key power stations that supplies electricity to the area.

The power interruption will affect several neighborhoods, including Gongolamboto Jeshini, Mwisho wa Lami, Majohe, Mbondole Njia Nne, Bright Future Kwa Mugabo, Kurutini, Kwa John Fedha, Kwa Bomola, Mbondole Shule, Machimbo, Kwa Mbaruku, Richmond, Kwa Mhaya, as well as some adjacent areas of Kivule.
