Six Nations confirm participation in Nane Nane international Pool Tournament

Six countries have officially confirmed their participation in the upcoming Nane Nane International Pool Tournament, set to take place on August 8 this year in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Speaking to The Respondent Online, the Secretary-General of the Tanzania Pool Association (TAPA), Abdallah Omar Abdallah, named Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and host nation Tanzania as the countries set to compete in this year's event.

Abdallah emphasized that the tournament remains open to other interested countries, highlighting the event’s role in fostering international relations and promoting the sport across borders.

"We continue to receive confirmations from various nations eager to join the tournament. This annual event not only showcases competitive pool but also strengthens diplomatic and cultural ties through sport," he said.

He noted that preparations are well underway, with a strong focus on professionalism and high-level competition.

The tournament will feature a variety of formats, including both individual and team events for men and women, offering a broad platform for talent and skill display.

Abdallah also urged sponsors and sports stakeholders to step forward and support the tournament, saying their involvement is crucial to ensuring the success of the event.
