Public voting opens for final selection of logo that will represent Tanzanian products in local and international markets

The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has completed the first phase of developing a Nation Brand Mark "Made in Tanzania" aimed at giving Tanzanian goods and services a stronger identity in both local and international markets.

A total of 88 designs were submitted by individuals across the country. After evaluation, six designs were shortlisted for further development.

The selected designers received special training to refine their work ahead of the second stage.

From these, three top designs have now been shortlisted and presented to the public for final voting. TanTrade has opened online voting, inviting Tanzanians and other stakeholders to choose the design they believe best represents the country’s products.

The design that receives the highest number of votes will be officially registered and adopted as Tanzania’s Nation Brand Mark.

The winning logo is expected to serve as a symbol of quality, authenticity, and pride for Tanzanian products on both domestic and global platforms.

TanTrade says the brand mark will boost the visibility of Tanzanian products abroad and strengthen their competitiveness in international markets. The official launch date will be announced later.

In the meantime, TanTrade has called on citizens to participate in the voting process, noting that the final winner will be unveiled during the official launching ceremony.
