Simba SC Head Coach Fadlu Davids has emphasized the importance of their upcoming fixtures against Pamba and KMC, stating that the team is fully focused on securing all six points in their pursuit of the NBC Premier League title.
Following their narrow 1-0 victory over JKT Tanzania, Simba has now collected six points from two consecutive wins, having also defeated Mashujaa in a previous match. With two more games ahead, Davids is aiming for a perfect 12 points from this stretch of four matches.
“Our goal is to collect 12 points from these four games. We’ve already secured six, so the matches against Pamba and KMC are crucial,” said Davids.
“We’ll need to adjust our attacking style to stretch the opponent's defense and create more opportunities in central areas.”
The South African tactician praised his players for their recent performance and urged continued focus and tactical discipline heading into the next fixtures.
“I want to congratulate my players for a solid game. Now, our full attention is on Pamba and KMC. We need six more points to stay on track with our championship ambitions,” he added.
Meanwhile, JKT Tanzania Head Coach Ahmad Ally attributed his team’s defeat to a lapse in concentration that allowed Simba to score.
“We lost focus, and that allowed Simba to capitalize with a cross that led to the goal,” said Ally. “We weren't properly organized in our defensive duties. We’ll return to the training ground to address these mistakes and make sure they don't happen again in future matches.”
