Kaliua DAS urges teachers to uphold professional ethics

Kaliua District Administrative Secretary, Mr. Raymond Mweli, continued his official tour on May 19, 2025, by visiting public servants in the education sector.

During his visit, Mr. Mweli addressed teachers in various schools, urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in their work. 

He emphasized the importance of commitment and dedication to duty, noting that teachers play a vital role in shaping a better society.

“The government values your efforts and the significant contribution you make in building an educated and responsible community,” he said.

He further encouraged teachers to remain disciplined, work diligently, and serve as role models for their students. 

Mr. Mweli also reassured them that the government recognizes their challenges and remains committed to supporting the education sector to ensure quality learning outcomes.

His remarks aimed to boost morale among teachers and strengthen their commitment to national development through education.

The tour is part of his broader mission to monitor service delivery and improve performance across all public institutions in Kaliua District.
