In celebration of Eid, the Jami'iyatul Akhlaaqul Islam Institution demonstrated a remarkable spirit of community by providing food and beverages to patients and healthcare workers at Hai District Hospital.

This gesture of goodwill was a reflection of the institution's ongoing commitment to supporting those in need, particularly during the significant religious occasion.

During the event, Sheikh Omary Maamud, the Chairman of the Muslim Council of Tanzania (BAKWATA) for Hai District, shared the institution's mission of bringing joy and comfort to those enduring health challenges.

He emphasized the importance of reaching out to individuals who are going through tough times and offering not only physical support but also spiritual encouragement through prayers.

Sheikh Omary explained that this act of charity is a long-standing tradition for the institution, as they make it a point to visit patients and others facing various difficulties every Sunday, as part of their broader community outreach initiatives.

“We have established a regular practice of visiting patients and people who are struggling with different challenges, especially on Sundays, as we believe it is essential to offer a helping hand and provide moral support,” Sheikh Omary explained.

“In addition to this, we also assist with medical expenses for individuals who cannot afford treatment and contribute blood donations to help save lives.”

Honorable Ivod Njau, the Councilor of Bomang'ombe Ward, expressed his admiration for the institution's selfless efforts and praised the organization for its dedication to helping those who are less fortunate.

He encouraged other community groups and individuals to follow the example set by the Jami'iyatul Akhlaaqul Islam Institution in offering assistance to the needy.

“It is heartwarming to see organizations like this one taking a step forward to help those in dire situations,” said Njau. “I urge more communities to embrace this spirit of selflessness.”

Fuya Kimbita, a local resident of Hai District, also commended the institution’s charitable actions, emphasizing that such gestures of kindness and generosity hold great value in society.

Fuya, who was deeply moved by the event, made a personal contribution of one hundred thousand Tanzanian shillings to support the institution's ongoing efforts.

“Helping patients and those in need is a noble act, and I am honored to be part of this initiative,” Fuya said.

Among those who benefited from the generosity of the institution was Marko Lukas, a patient at Hai District Hospital, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the support he received.

“I never expected such love and care. This has truly made me feel that I am not alone in my struggles,” Marko shared, with visible emotion.

“I pray that God blesses this institution so that it can continue spreading kindness and assisting others who are in need.”

The Jami'iyatul Akhlaaqul Islam Institution has long been a beacon of hope and social solidarity, demonstrating how faith and compassion can uplift communities in times of hardship.

By consistently providing assistance to vulnerable groups, the institution upholds its commitment to both religious values and humanitarian principles.

The gesture of goodwill during Eid is a testament to their unwavering dedication to supporting individuals in need and fostering a compassionate society.
