A group of former staff members from Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital, who have since been transferred to public service roles in Dodoma, has made a generous donation of medical supplies and medicines to children receiving treatment at Dodoma Regional Referral Hospital (DRRH).
These staff members, currently working under various health departments in Dodoma, were previously employed at the Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital before being reassigned to the capital.
Leading the delegation, Ms. Naima Mkingule emphasized the importance of collaboration between healthcare institutions, communities, and various stakeholders to ensure that children receive timely and quality medical care.
"In order to ensure that our children receive the best healthcare services, it is crucial to unite our efforts. Cooperation between healthcare institutions, the community, and other partners is fundamental to our success in addressing the healthcare challenges facing children," said Naima Mkingule.
Ms. Mkingule explained that the donation of medical supplies and medicines is part of their commitment to supporting the efforts of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and the Ministry of Health in improving access to quality healthcare services across the country, particularly for children who need medical treatment to recover from diseases that affect their lives.
