Simba SC has started preparing for their NBC Tanzania Premier League match against Namungo, set for February 19, 2025, at Majaliwa Stadium in Lindi.
Earlier, Simba was supposed to play Dodoma Jiji on February 15, but the match was postponed after some players and technical staff were involved in an accident on February 10, 2025.
Speaking about the upcoming game, Simba's Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, said the match will be tough since they have drawn against Namungo in the last two seasons.
“This season, we are aiming for a win because we are in the race for the league title,” said Ally.
He also noted that Namungo is a strong opponent, recalling that they disrupted Simba’s title chase two seasons ago.
Ally urged Simba fans to show their support by attending the match in large numbers to motivate the team in their remaining games.
