The Tanzania Mainland Women's Premier League resumes today, with eight teams battling it out in matches scheduled at various venues across the country.
JKT Queens will play on home turf as they host Alliance Girls at Meja General Isamuhyo Grounds in Dar es Salaam.
Yanga Princess will face Bunda Queens at KMC Grounds in Mwenge, Dar es Salaam.
Ceasiaa Queen will go head-to-head with Fountain Princess at Mkwawa College Grounds in Iringa, while Gets Program will take on Mashujaa in the final game of the day at Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma.
JKT Tanzania/Queens' Media Officer, Masau Bwire, expressed the team’s determination to start the league strongly.
“We are picking up where we left off after winning the CAF U17 Girls Integrated Football Tournament.
Our preparations have been thorough, and we’re ready to make the most of our home advantage by securing three crucial points today,” he said.
