Simba SC is set to face Kilimanjaro Wonders in the 64th round of the CRDB Federation Cup tomorrow at KMC Complex Stadium in Mwenge, Dar es Salaam.

The match kicks off at 10:00 PM, with both teams vying for victory to secure a place in the 32nd round of the competition.

Simba comes into the game following a 2-0 win over Angola's CS Constantine in the CAF Confederation Cup, played at the Mkapa Stadium.

Coaches and players from both sides spoke to the media about their preparations for the upcoming match.

Simba's Assistant Coach, Selemani Matola, emphasized that the team is treating this match as a final to ensure progression to the next stage.

He assured fans that the team was well-prepared and determined to secure a positive result.

"We may not know much about our opponents, but they are familiar with us.

Their strength has made our preparations more challenging, but we are ready to fight for the win," Matola said.

He highlighted the significance of the match, noting that it is a knockout game, and the team will be extra cautious, having previously been eliminated in similar encounters.

Simba player Yassin Mzamiru also shared that the players are highly motivated, with the team's goal being to win the trophy.

On the other hand, Kilimanjaro Wonders Head Coach Daudi Macha said his side is fully prepared to battle for a good result in this game.

"We have great respect for Simba. They have a skilled coach, experienced players, and international talent, which will provide a valuable learning experience for my young players, who are gaining exposure in the Kilimanjaro Regional Champions League," Macha said.

Macha also expressed confidence in his team’s form, saying, "The team is in great condition, and there are no injuries. We're fully prepared for this match, and we're looking forward to a competitive encounter. We have no fear."

Kilimanjaro's Captain, Khatibu Kigasa, echoed his coach's sentiments, stating that the players are motivated and ready for the challenge ahead.

"We expect a tough game, but we will play with determination, following the coach's instructions. Simba is a great team with strong foreign and local players, but we are prepared to give our best," said Kigasa.
