Simba SC management has called on fans to comply with the punishment handed down by FIFA, emphasizing the need to avoid any further violations as the club focuses on achieving its goals.
Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, highlighted that the club is committed to finishing at the top of their group while strictly adhering to the imposed restrictions, which bar fans from entering the stadium during matches.
"We are determined to comply fully with this punishment so that our fans can be allowed back for the quarterfinal matches. I urge all Simba fans to respect this decision—no one should attempt to sneak into the stadium under any circumstances," he stated.
Ahmed clarified that only a specific number of individuals, approved by CAF, will be allowed entry to the stadium, and the club will strictly follow this directive.
"There have been suggestions to set up a large screen at Uhuru Stadium so fans can cheer and their voices can reach the players.
However, regulations strictly prohibit anyone from being within 1,000 meters of the stadium. Attempting this would be a clear violation of the rules," he explained.
He urged all individuals without authorization to steer clear of Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, acknowledging the frustration of fans who are eager to see their team in action.
To accommodate supporters, Ahmed announced a special arrangement by the club's sponsor, Mo Cola, which has organized a dedicated viewing area at Mwembe Yanga in Temeke.
"The event at Mwembe Yanga will begin at 11 a.m. and will feature a massive screen for live viewing. There will also be entertainment throughout the day, including performances by DJ Mushizo, known for the hit song Wivu, and DJ Sinyorita," he added.
This initiative aims to bring fans together in a safe environment to support their team as they strive for success.
