The Minister of Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, Prof. Palamagamba Kabudi, has officially received a special report detailing proposed designs for the National Dress from the committee established to oversee its development.
Minister Kabudi noted that the process of creating the National Dress has begun to show significant progress, with the committee now submitting its proposals for the designs to the Ministry.
He expressed satisfaction with the steps taken so far in the initiative.
Speaking on January 9, 2025, in Dar es Salaam, while receiving the report from the dedicated committee, Kabudi emphasized that the creation of the National Dress involves multiple stages and is not a swift undertaking.
He highlighted the importance of gathering input from the public and various stakeholders throughout the process.
To ensure transparency and inclusivity, the proposed designs will be published, allowing everyone the opportunity to view and provide their feedback.
