K.A.S showcased an impressive performance, securing a 5-1 win against City Light in the U17 Girls Integrated Football Tournament (GIFT) held today at the Azam Complex Chamazi.
The match began with K.A.S taking an early lead in the 8th minute, as Joyangela Valencia scored the first goal.
Just four minutes later, in the 12th minute, K.A.S extended their advantage with a second goal by Brenda Achieng.
City Light responded in the 23rd minute with a goal from Rahma Dafalla, bringing the score to 2-1. However, K.A.S quickly regained control, with Jenevive Mithel scoring their third goal in the 45th minute. By halftime, K.A.S held a commanding 3-1 lead.
In the second half, K.A.S continued to dominate. In the 55th minute, Mitshel Muthama netted their fourth goal. City Light's misfortune continued in the 59th minute when they scored an own goal, further widening the gap to 5-1 in favor of K.A.S.
The final 45 minutes saw no additional goals, with K.A.S maintaining their 5-1 advantage until the final whistle.
