Iringa District Commissioner, Comrade Kheri James, has called on residents to take responsibility for safeguarding and utilizing development projects in their areas to ensure they remain functional and serve the community effectively for years to come.

Speaking earlier today during a tour of the Isimani Division, Comrade Kheri James emphasized the importance of community involvement in preserving projects funded by the government. The tour aimed to promote development initiatives, engage with residents, and inspect ongoing projects.

"The government has invested heavily in key sectors such as education, water, health, and electricity. These projects must be managed well, completed on time, and protected by everyone for the benefit of all," said the District Commissioner.

During his visit, he met with residents of Ndolela Village and inspected the construction of dormitories and classrooms at Ismani Secondary School and Furahia Secondary School, as well as the dispensary in Ikengeza Village.

Comrade Kheri James was accompanied by technical experts from the Iringa District Council and local leaders, who pledged their commitment to ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of these projects.

The Commissioner urged residents to embrace a sense of ownership and responsibility, emphasizing that their collective efforts would ensure the long-term success and impact of these initiatives.
