Simba SC will play Kagera Sugar in an NBC Premier League match tomorrow at Kaitaba Stadium in the Kagera Region.
The Reds come into the match riding high on a 2-0 victory over Ken Gold in their last outing, securing three crucial points. Meanwhile, Kagera Sugar managed a 1-1 draw against Namungo in their previous game.
Speaking ahead of the match, Simba's head coach, Fadlu David, expressed confidence in his team's preparations, emphasizing that they are approaching this encounter with a fresh strategy.
“The records show we haven’t had great results against our opponents, especially when they are at home, over the past few seasons. But this time, we are well-prepared,” said Fadlu.
Player Ally Salim echoed the coach’s sentiments, affirming the team's readiness for the clash.
“On behalf of my teammates, we are in great shape and fully prepared. We’re just waiting for the time to execute the task we came here for,” said Salim.
Simba currently sits second on the league table with 33 points, while Kagera Sugar is struggling at 14th place with 11 points.
