Teams, clubs, and individual players have been urged to prepare thoroughly and demonstrate their competitiveness during the selection of the national team that will represent Tanzania at the Kabaddi World Cup, scheduled in March next year in the United Kingdom.

The selection event is set for December 30 this year at the Indian Cultural Centre Grounds in Masaki (SVCC).

Stanley Mwadime, Secretary General of the Tanzania Kabaddi Sports Association (TKSA), emphasized that the event aims to prepare the team for international standards.

“Our focus is to identify players who will join the training camp as part of preparations for the World Cup,” Mwadime stated.

He further noted that the association is working to ensure the event runs smoothly, including discussions with the cultural center to arrange transport for participants.

Additionally, Mwadime confirmed that the center will provide meals for participants during the selection event.
