A total of 56 students have graduated from the Cabin Crew Ab Initio Course at the Tanzania Aviation Training Center (ATTC), receiving certificates after a rigorous selection process. Initially, 180 candidates applied for the course, but after the first round of screening, only 120 remained, and finally, just 56 successfully completed the program.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, held at Julius Nyerere International Airport's Terminal 1 in Dar es Salaam, ATCL's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ladislaus Matindi, said the graduates had passed without any doubt.

He emphasized that the primary role of cabin crew members is to ensure the safety of passengers, their belongings, and the aircraft they serve on. He also noted that excellent customer service is a top priority in fulfilling these duties.

"Many graduates from this institution have secured jobs quickly, both locally and internationally, due to meeting the requirements of the competitive job market," Matindi stated. "Some have even been employed by major international airlines."

Matindi highlighted that the growth of the global aviation sector has led to a surge in applications for the course. This increase is further driven by the availability of modern ATCL aircraft, skilled trainers, and advanced training equipment, which has encouraged many aspiring individuals to enroll at ATTC to pursue their dreams.

He also revealed that ATCL has plans to open more branches outside of Dar es Salaam to meet the growing demand for aviation training.

The head of ATTC, Elly Ndekile, mentioned that since the center started offering this type of training, over 700 professionals have successfully graduated. The ceremony was held over the weekend at the Tanzania Aviation Training Center.
