Dar es Salaam. Tanzania telecom company, Tigo, in
partnership with ZTE Tanzania have launched the new smartphone, ZTE A34.
Through ‘Sako kwa Bako na Simu janja kwaMpango’ campaign,
the launch is a major step forward in company’s ongoing mission to connect more
Tanzanians ton internet service and give customers the opportunity to enjoy the
country's most optimized and comprehensive 4G network.
Imelda Edward, the Device’s Manager at Tigo, said the
strategic partnership with ZTE Tanzania is to fill the internet penetration gap,
countrywide.
“Customers may buy the smartphone gadget by installments where
buyers can opt for a 12-month plan, which requires an initial deposit of TZS
35,000 and then pay daily installments of TZS 650 within 365 days,” she
explained.
The ZTE A34 is also available at a cash price of 180,000
shillings.
