The 10th Power & Energy Tanzania 2026 and 10th Solarexpo Tanzania 2026 will open on Wednesday, October 7, bringing together companies, manufacturers, investors and energy experts from across Africa, Asia and Europe.

The three-day exhibitions will be held at the Diamond Jubilee Expo Centre, showcasing technologies and solutions in power generation, transmission and distribution, electrical engineering, solar energy, renewable energy and energy infrastructure.

Energy Minister Dr Juma Zuberi Homera is expected to inaugurate the exhibitions as the chief guest.

Organisers said exhibitors will include companies and brands from China, India, Tanzania, Kenya, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, among other countries.

The exhibitions come as Tanzania seeks to expand access to reliable electricity while increasing investment in renewable energy and strengthening its energy infrastructure.

Visitors will have an opportunity to engage directly with international manufacturers and suppliers, assess new technologies and explore potential investment and business partnerships.

The events are also expected to provide a platform for local businesses and energy-sector stakeholders to learn about technologies that could support the country's transition towards more efficient and sustainable energy systems.

The exhibitions will feature products and solutions covering the entire energy value chain, from electricity generation and transmission to distribution, solar systems and other renewable-energy technologies.

Organisers said the events will also provide opportunities for industry professionals to network with international companies and identify solutions relevant to Tanzania and the wider East African market.

With participation from firms across several major energy markets, the exhibitions are expected to provide a platform for technology transfer, commercial partnerships and investment discussions in Tanzania's growing energy sector.
