DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania — Tanzania is set to host one of Africa's largest agriculture and food industry events when the 10th Africa Agri Expo (AAE 2026) and the 3rd Future Food, Livestock & Poultry Expo (FLIP 2026) take place from September 2-3, 2026 at the Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds in Dar es Salaam.
Organisers say the joint event will bring together leading players from agriculture, livestock, food processing and agribusiness across Africa and beyond, providing a platform to showcase innovation, strengthen trade partnerships and promote investment in the sector.
More than 10,000 targeted visitors, 125 exhibitors and sponsors, 750 conference delegates, 75 expert speakers and representatives from 35 countries are expected to participate. Organisers also estimate that more than 1,000 companies from the food, livestock and poultry value chains will be represented.
The exhibition will feature the latest technologies in agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, seed development, livestock and poultry equipment, animal feed, food processing and other modern farming solutions aimed at improving productivity and sustainability.
Alongside the exhibition, a high-level conference will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers and agribusiness executives to discuss emerging trends, investment opportunities and challenges facing Africa's agriculture and food industries.
The organisers say the event is designed to create new commercial opportunities by connecting manufacturers, distributors, dealers, investors and buyers through face-to-face business meetings and networking sessions.
Industry associations from across the region are also expected to participate, providing visitors with opportunities to engage directly with organisations involved in shaping agricultural policy, standards and regional trade.
Tanzania's strategic position within East Africa, coupled with growing investment in agriculture and food production, makes Dar es Salaam an important venue for expanding regional and international business partnerships, organisers said.
The exhibition is expected to attract farmers, agribusiness owners, livestock and poultry producers, food processors, government agencies, investors, consultants and technology providers seeking to expand their presence in Africa's rapidly growing agricultural market.
