A delegation of 49 school heads from Zanzibar has visited Paradise Mission School in Mbalizi, Mbeya Region, as part of an educational exchange programme aimed at strengthening school leadership, improving teaching practices and enhancing learning outcomes.
The visit brought together education leaders to observe the school's academic programmes, management systems and teaching approaches while exchanging ideas on strategies that can improve the quality of education.
Speaking during the visit, Paradise Mission Chief Executive Officer, Ndele Mwaselela, said professional learning visits provide a valuable platform for schools to learn from one another and strengthen collaboration across the education sector.
He noted that sharing successful teaching methods, leadership experiences and school management practices is essential for raising educational standards and creating better learning environments for students.
"The knowledge and experience exchanged during this visit will help strengthen the performance of your schools and contribute to improving the quality of education in our country," Mwaselela said.
The visiting school leaders said the tour had given them practical insights into Paradise Mission's approach to school administration, classroom instruction and institutional management.
They said the experience would help them implement new ideas in the schools they oversee in Zanzibar, particularly in areas of leadership, teaching and quality assurance.
The delegation also expressed its commitment to maintaining collaboration with Paradise Mission, saying continued partnerships between schools would support professional development and contribute to the long-term improvement of Tanzania's education sector.
