Visitors attending the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) have encouraged more Tanzanians to visit the annual exhibition, saying the event continues in a peaceful and orderly environment despite concerns expressed by some members of the public.

Makame Khamis Mohamed, a visitor from Zanzibar, said he had travelled to Dar es Salaam and found business activities and exhibitions proceeding normally.

"The atmosphere is calm and safe, just like on any other day. I encourage those who have been hesitant to come because of unnecessary fears to take advantage of the opportunity and visit the exhibition," he said.

Another visitor, Mohammed Yomari Tego from Mbagala, said he had toured several exhibition stands without encountering any security concerns.

He said the fair brings together government institutions, financial services providers and private companies, allowing visitors to access a wide range of information and services in one location.

The 50th edition of the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair continues at the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Grounds, bringing together exhibitors from Tanzania and abroad.
