NMB Bank has officially launched full banking operations at its dedicated Saba Saba Branch pavilion at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), offering exhibitors, traders, businesses and thousands of visitors convenient access to a wide range of financial services throughout the 2026 exhibition.
The fully functional branch, located at the junction of Mabalozi and Carnivore Streets (Plot 24C), will operate from June 28 to July 13, 2026, enabling customers to conduct banking transactions directly within the exhibition grounds without the need to visit a permanent branch.
The initiative reflects NMB Bank’s continued strategy of bringing financial services closer to customers while supporting commercial activity at one of the country’s largest annual trade events.
The Saba Saba branch is offering a complete suite of banking services, including account opening, cash deposits and withdrawals, government payments, insurance services, loan advisory, financing solutions and digital banking support.
To enhance convenience, the branch is equipped with an automated teller machine (ATM) for cash deposits and withdrawals, while NMB banking agents have been deployed across the exhibition grounds to support smooth and efficient service delivery.
Beyond transactions, the bank is also using the platform to advance financial literacy, providing visitors with practical guidance on budgeting, saving, responsible borrowing and the safe use of digital financial services.
The aim is to strengthen financial inclusion while encouraging the adoption of modern banking tools among individuals and businesses.
Speaking at the commencement of operations, NMB Acting Dar es Salaam Zonal Manager William Nkuna said the bank’s presence at Saba Saba is designed to enhance customer convenience and support business growth during the trade fair.
He said the branch is fully operational and staffed with specialists from various business units to offer tailored advisory services on business financing, agriculture, construction, insurance products, account opening and digital banking innovations.
The bank is also showcasing its digital solutions, including the NMB Mkononi Super App, NMB Tap to Pay and NMB UmeBIMA, which are designed to make banking faster, safer and more accessible.
According to Nkuna, eligible individual customers can access unsecured digital loans of up to TZS 2 million instantly via mobile phones, while business customers can access up to TZS 5 million without collateral or the need to visit a branch.
The services are aimed at boosting working capital for entrepreneurs and providing quick financial support for personal needs.
NMB Bank has participated in the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair for more than a decade, but this year’s participation marks a major milestone with the introduction of full banking operations throughout the exhibition period.
By integrating banking services, financial education, digital innovation and business advisory under one platform, the bank aims to simplify financial transactions and support entrepreneurs as thousands of exhibitors and visitors converge at the fair, further contributing to Tanzania’s financial inclusion agenda.
