Halotel Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding digital connectivity and innovative telecommunications services after its Managing Director, Mr. Bui Van Thang, toured the company's pavilion at the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (Sabasaba 2026).

The visit highlighted Halotel's latest investments in digital technology, including its 5G network, Halotel Fibre home internet service, HaloPesa mobile financial platform and other technology-driven solutions aimed at improving connectivity and supporting Tanzania's digital transformation.

Mr. Thang, who was accompanied by Deputy Managing Director, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Dung, was taken through the exhibition by Halotel Tanzania Business Unit Director Mr. Abdallah Salum, who showcased the company's products and customer-focused innovations on display during the annual trade fair.

During the tour, the Halotel boss interacted with employees serving customers at the pavilion, commending their efforts to deliver quality services and strengthen customer engagement throughout the exhibition.

He also met visitors at the pavilion and joined frontline staff in assisting customers, observing first-hand how the company's telecommunications and digital financial services are helping individuals and businesses stay connected and access modern digital solutions.

Speaking during the visit, Mr Thang said Halotel remains committed to investing in advanced technologies that deliver reliable, affordable and high-quality services to Tanzanians as demand for digital connectivity continues to grow.

"Our focus is to continue investing in innovation and technology that meets the changing needs of our customers while contributing to Tanzania's digital economy," he said.

Marketing Manager, Aidat Lwiza encouraged members of the public to visit the company's pavilion before the exhibition closes to explore its products, receive expert guidance and benefit from promotional offers available during the trade fair.

She said the exhibition provides an important platform for customers to learn more about Halotel's expanding range of services, interact directly with company specialists and experience new technologies designed to simplify communication, financial transactions and internet access.

"The Sabasaba exhibition gives us an opportunity to engage directly with our customers, answer their questions and introduce them to the latest digital solutions and special offers we have prepared for them," Ms Lwiza said.

The 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair runs until July 13, 2026, with Halotel among companies using the event to showcase technologies supporting Tanzania's growing digital economy.
