Three customers of CRDB Bank have won an opportunity to watch the FIFA World Cup final live in Canada through the bank’s promotional campaign dubbed “Fainali Ndo Mpango,” run in partnership with TemboCard Visa.

The winners are Godfrey Chibulunje, Habiba Sarah Filikunjombe and Lenah Munyua, all residents of Dar es Salaam.

The three will travel to Canada to experience the World Cup final match live as part of the ongoing customer rewards campaign.

They join another group of earlier winners from the second draw, bringing the total number of customers heading to Canada to six.

In addition, four other winners will travel to the United States to watch World Cup matches live, pushing the total number of international match spectators under the campaign to 10 customers.

Beyond the grand prize of international travel and match tickets, four other customers have won Hisense 85-inch televisions, along with full subscription packages that will enable them to follow all FIFA World Cup matches hosted across the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The winners include Kayn Senga from Dar es Salaam, Faik Said Khamis from Zanzibar, and Athumani Ali Omari from Dar es Salaam.

They will receive large-screen televisions bundled with decoder and subscription services for complete tournament coverage.

Speaking during the announcement, CRDB Bank Senior Cards Manager, Karington Chahe, said the winners were selected through a promotional draw after actively using TemboCard Visa cards for payments.

He explained that customers using TemboCard Visa Debit, Prepaid or Credit cards automatically entered the promotion, provided they met the required transaction threshold during the campaign period.

Chahe congratulated the winners and encouraged other customers to continue using digital payment platforms to increase their chances of winning upcoming prizes.

He added that the campaign is still ongoing, with more prizes available, including six additional travel opportunities to watch World Cup matches and seven more large-screen television sets with complete viewing packages.

According to him, the initiative aims to reward loyal customers while also accelerating the adoption of digital payments in Tanzania, as the financial sector continues to shift towards cashless transactions.

“This campaign is part of our broader effort to promote digital payments, enhance innovation in financial services and reward our customers for their loyalty,” Chahe said.

He noted that customers are required to make at least 30 transactions per month using TemboCard Visa at point-of-sale terminals or online platforms to qualify for entry into the draws.

During the same event, two winners from an earlier draw also received their prizes. Amina Kaswala and Lusekelo Mwamala were awarded television sets as part of the campaign.

The prizes were officially handed over by CRDB Bank Head of Cards Business, Omar Nkulo, who reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to continuing customer reward initiatives and expanding digital banking adoption across the country.
