Young Africans Sports Club continued their impressive form in the Ligi Kuu Tanzania Bara after securing a comfortable 3–0 victory over Singida Black Stars at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam, further strengthening their position at the top of the standings.

The match began at a high tempo with Yanga immediately taking control of possession and dictating the rhythm of play.

Their early pressure paid off in the 14th minute when Allan Okello found the back of the net with a composed finish, rewarding Yanga’s bright start and setting the tone for the rest of the encounter.

Singida Black Stars attempted to respond with quick transitions and counter-attacks, but they found it difficult to break through Yanga’s well-organised defensive structure.

The champions remained calm at the back while continuing to build pressure in midfield and attack.

Yanga doubled their lead in the 42nd minute through Mudathir Yahya, who capitalised on sustained attacking pressure to score and give his side a comfortable 2–0 advantage going into halftime. The goal reflected Yanga’s superiority in creativity and finishing in the first half.

After the break, Singida Black Stars returned with more intent, pushing forward in search of a way back into the match.

However, Yanga managed the game well, controlling possession and limiting the opposition’s chances while waiting for opportunities to strike again.

The decisive moment came in the 69th minute when Allan Okello struck again, scoring his second goal of the match and Yanga’s third.

The goal effectively sealed the contest and highlighted Okello’s growing influence in the team’s attacking setup.

With a three-goal cushion, Yanga continued to dominate proceedings, maintaining discipline in both defence and midfield.

Singida Black Stars tried to push for a consolation goal in the closing stages, but Yanga’s backline remained firm and well-organised, dealing comfortably with the pressure.

As the match progressed towards the final whistle, Yanga managed the game with maturity, slowing down the tempo and controlling possession to deny their opponents any meaningful comeback chances. At full time, the champions walked away with a convincing 3–0 win.

The result adds another important three points to Yanga’s campaign and reinforces their status as strong title contenders this season. Their balance in attack, midfield control, and defensive stability once again proved decisive.

For Singida Black Stars, the defeat highlights the challenges they continue to face against top sides, particularly in dealing with sustained pressure and clinical finishing.

Yanga will now turn their attention to upcoming fixtures as they aim to maintain their momentum in the title race, while their latest performance sends a clear message to their rivals that they remain firmly in control of their domestic ambitions.
