The President’s Office for Planning and Investment has officially opened a vacancy for a Private Sector Representative to join the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) Board.
This appointment is in line with Section 8 of the Investment and Special Economic Zones Act, 2025, which empowers the Minister for Planning and Investment to select qualified board members to guide the Authority’s strategic direction.
The government is calling on Tanzanian professionals with strong leadership experience, a solid track record in business management, and familiarity with investment operations in Tanzania or the wider East African region.
Candidates with experience in international business are highly encouraged to apply. Successful applicants are expected to contribute actively to high-level policy discussions and board consultations, ensuring that Tanzania’s special economic zones benefit from private sector insight and global investment standards.
Applications, including a detailed Curriculum Vitae and supporting documents, must reach the Chairman of the Search Committee by April 20, 2026.
