Dodoma Jiji Football Club has confirmed that it is ready to play its upcoming fixtures at any venue, following Simba SC’s announcement that three of their matches, including the CRDB FA Cup tie, will be held at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.

Simba SC is set to face Dodoma Jiji in the FA Cup on April 12. According to Simba’s team manager, Patrick Rweyemamu, the decision to relocate these matches to Arusha was driven by a congested fixture schedule.

Rweyemamu explained that Simba will start with a Premier League clash against TRA United in Arusha, then play the FA Cup match against Dodoma Jiji, before returning to league action to face Fountain Gate another match scheduled at the same venue.

Dodoma Jiji’s Media Officer, Moses Mpunga, said the club has not yet received formal written confirmation regarding the venue change.

He added that the team is fully prepared for the game, which was originally planned at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

“We have heard about the venue change, but it is not official. We are waiting for written confirmation. Regardless, our team is ready to play anywhere be it Arusha or Dar es Salaam,” Mpunga said.
