TRA United has issued a strong warning to Tanzanian football giants Simba SC and Young Africans SC after securing a convincing 2–0 victory over Namungo FC in the NBC Premier League.
Following the win, the club’s management urged teams scheduled to face TRA United to prepare thoroughly, insisting that no excuses should be made when they play at their home ground, Rhino Black Stadium.
TRA United Information Officer Christina Mwagala said the team is determined to improve its position in the league table by consistently collecting maximum points.
She noted that Rhino Black Stadium offers all the necessary facilities for hosting competitive league matches, including a quality playing surface, reliable transport options such as flights and buses, and suitable accommodation for visiting teams.
“TRA United has already started collecting ‘tax’ for the 2026 season. We are continuing to gather points so that we can move from our current position and climb higher in the standings. Our focus now is to ensure the team performs even better in the upcoming matches,” said Mwagala.
She added that the team is preparing for a challenging run of fixtures, starting with a match against Simba on March 14. TRA United will then face Yanga on March 18 before meeting Simba again on March 22.
Mwagala said the club’s goal is to secure three points in every match, building on the momentum gained from their victory over Namungo.
“We believe the upcoming matches against Simba and Yanga will provide a good opportunity for us to demonstrate our strength and competitiveness in the league,” she said.
