The Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) has successfully trained officers from government ministries, agencies, departments, and public organizations to enhance their skills in producing informative programs for citizens.
The training targeted communications officers responsible for sharing government information and implementing development initiatives.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, TBC Acting Director, Mr. Gwakisa Mlawa, said the sessions would boost participants’ skills and efficiency in their daily work.
“Communication is not just about sharing information; it is about building a strong image for institutions and the nation,” he said.
Mr. Mlawa added that the training would improve the quality of content produced, thanks to expert guidance on leadership, program production, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and workplace conflict resolution.
He also emphasized that TBC continues to invest in modern technology to enhance news and communication services and encouraged stakeholders and citizens to use TBC as a key platform for reliable information.
On behalf of the participants, Head of Communications at the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA), Mr. Salum Pazzy, praised TBC, noting that the training had equipped officers to produce professional and citizen-focused educational programs.
