In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Tanzanian citizens in or traveling to the affected regions are urged to prioritize their safety, remain vigilant, and follow instructions from local authorities and Tanzanian embassies or consulates.
The government reaffirmed its commitment to protecting Tanzanian nationals abroad and providing necessary support when required.
On the diplomatic front, Tanzania called for restraint and de-escalation, emphasizing the importance of a peaceful resolution in line with the United Nations Charter.
