The Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) has scheduled improvements to its LUKU electricity prepayment system aimed at enhancing service efficiency and reliability.
The maintenance is set for Wednesday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, during which the LUKU prepayment platform will be temporarily unavailable.
TANESCO urges customers to purchase electricity units ahead of time or after the maintenance window to avoid inconvenience.
The company apologized for any disruption caused and thanked customers for their understanding and cooperation.
