The Mining Commission has issued the latest indicative prices for gold and silver across Tanzania.
Gold remains highly valued, with the world market price equivalent to TZS 429,563.68 per gram. The local mineral market price is set at TZS 386,607.31 per gram, while buying centres offer TZS 378,016.04 per gram to miners and traders.
Silver prices are also steady. The world market value in local currency is TZS 6,984.65 per gram, the mineral market price stands at TZS 6,286.19 per gram, and buying centres provide TZS 6,146.50 per gram.
The Mining Commission advises miners, traders, and investors to use these indicative prices as a reference for fair transactions in compliance with national regulations.
