The Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency CP Suzan Kaganda, recently met with Tanzanian community leaders and members in Hwange and Bulawayo to discuss key issues affecting citizens living abroad.
The discussions focused on ways Tanzanians overseas can actively participate in the government’s Economic Diplomacy initiatives and promote the Kiswahili language internationally.
Ambassador Kaganda urged Tanzanians living abroad to register on the Diaspora Hub platform. She explained that registration would link them to opportunities in employment, education, business, and investment through Tanzanian diplomatic missions. It would also help address challenges they face in their host communities.
She assured the diaspora that the Tanzanian Embassy in Zimbabwe is ready to provide support whenever needed and is committed to sharing information on business and investment opportunities in Zimbabwe that could benefit Tanzanians.
