The Tanzanian Police Force has launched an investigation after a video showing two women assaulting another woman with a stick went viral on social media.
Police Spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) David Misime, said the video, shared widely on Facebook, shows the women verbally abusing the victim, accusing her of “stealing other people’s husbands.”
DCP Misime urged anyone with information about the women to come forward and assist authorities. The Police assured that those involved will be traced and face legal action.
