Tanzania Prisons Football Club has officially announced that it will move its home matches to Dodoma following the temporary closure of Sokoine Stadium for renovations.
Speaking on behalf of the club, Chief Executive Officer Inspector Geofrey Madengwa explained that the move to Jamhuri Stadium is necessary for the team to continue participating in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League without disruption.
He further confirmed that today’s CRDB Cup match, originally scheduled at Sokoine Stadium, will now take place at the Chunua District Council Stadium.
Madengwa extended apologies to fans and supporters for any inconvenience caused by the changes.
“This decision is aimed at improving the stadium’s infrastructure while ensuring the team can maintain its competitive schedule smoothly,” he said.
