Singida Black Stars have pitched camp in Dar es Salaam as they intensify preparations for their upcoming NBC Tanzania Premier League fixture against Fountain Gate, scheduled for February 11 at the Azam Complex in Chamazi.
The team’s focus has now shifted fully to domestic competition following their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup after a narrow 1–0 defeat to Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in a Group Stage match played on Sunday at the New Amaan Complex in Zanzibar.
Confirming the development, the club’s spokesperson, Hussein Massanza, said the squad arrived in Dar es Salaam earlier today and immediately began preparations for the league encounter.
“Our CAF Confederation Cup journey has ended, and we are now concentrating all our efforts on the NBC Premier League. The objective is to finish strongly and secure qualification for international competitions next season,” Massanza said.
He also commended the club’s supporters for their unwavering support throughout the continental campaign.
Massanza added that reaching the group stage had been the club’s primary target this season, describing the achievement as a significant milestone, particularly as it marked Singida Black Stars’ maiden appearance in continental football.
