More than 100 investors and entrepreneurs participated in an Investment Seminar held on 17 February 2026 at the conference hall of the Office of the Mbeya Regional Commissioner.
The event was successfully organized to strengthen awareness and participation in investment opportunities available at both regional and national levels.
The seminar brought together key stakeholders from the investment ecosystem, creating an open platform for participants to ask questions, share business challenges, and gain practical knowledge on investment procedures.
Discussions focused on investment opportunities, incentives, and government support mechanisms provided through the Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA).
Participants were also provided with comprehensive insights into priority investment areas within Mbeya Region and guidance on how local entrepreneurs and investors can effectively utilize these opportunities to generate employment, enhance productivity, and contribute to economic growth at both regional and national levels.
The seminar was facilitated by Daudi Riganda, Investment Promotion Manager at TISEZA, who delivered a presentation on investment incentives, registration procedures, and the advantages of investing through TISEZA, with emphasis on improving accessibility of investment services.
The Guest of Honour, the Mbeya Regional Commissioner, Beno Malisa, commended TISEZA for bringing investment services closer to stakeholders.
In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Government and the private sector in achieving national development goals, including Tanzania’s Vision 2050.
The seminar forms part of a national campaign to promote domestic investment, aimed at strengthening private sector participation, accelerating economic growth, and fostering inclusive and sustainable development across the country.
